My live paintings are created in my signature whimsical, abstract, and slightly impressionistic style, with an emphasis on capturing the atmosphere, architecture, landscape, and special details that make your event uniquely yours.
What Does the Process Look Like?
Before your event, we’ll discuss the scene you would like captured and any special details you’d like included. I’ll arrive at your event with the composition already lightly sketched onto the canvas, so I can begin painting right away.
I typically paint live for approximately 2 hours during your event, capturing the setting, atmosphere, and meaningful details as the celebration unfolds. Depending on the type of event, I may begin during cocktail hour, mingling, or another portion of the event that makes the most sense for the timeline.
Your painting can be customized to your preferences. You may choose to have specific people, details, or moments included in the painting—for example, a couple at a wedding or anniversary, the guest of honor at a birthday, a beautiful tablescape, your home, or another meaningful element of the event.
After my time at the event, I’ll take the painting home with me to complete the final artistic touches, varnish and seal the artwork, frame if you choose, and return the finished piece to you within the next few weeks.
Do you travel? Yes! My primary service area is OK, AR, and TX, but I would love to travel to your wedding! There are additional travel fees depending on the location, and this will be addressed once we’ve gotten in touch.
